What is the purpose of CID 20? Disinfecting and cleaning livestock buildings helps limit the spread of disease by destroying microorganisms present in the environment. CID 20 is used preventively to limit the survival of certain infectious agents such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi, thereby reducing animal contamination.
What are the advantages of the CID 20?
CID 20 is a self-foaming product, effective even in the hardest water, with a 4-year shelf life.
Didecyldimethyl ammonium chloride is effective against encapsulated viruses.
Glutaldehyde readily kills non-enveloped viruses as well as spore-forming bacteria, and retains its disinfectant activity even at temperatures as low as -5°C.
CID 20 has a very high surface activity, which increases its ability to penetrate micro-fissures.
